Compound Cakes are simply a number of individual cakes (as explained in Cakes and Barrages) usually comprising different sizes and effects, which are then fused to each other to create a longer-duration firework. These are particularly useful at bigger events when the host would rather light one fuse and be able to return to a safe distance and enjoy show, without having to run back and forth every 30 or so seconds to light another firework. Some of our compounds contain up to 1000 individual shots and effects and can last up to five minutes.
Compound Cakes really do epitomise the term 'Display-in-a-Box'.
