Roman candle fireworks are cylindrical tubes, or bundles of tubes packed with a vast range of pyrotechnic effects. When ignited, they shoot vibrant bursts of colourful sparks, stars or balls of light into the air in rapid succession. Mines on the other hand are usually a single eruption, and when ignited, will eject the contents high into the air in a single, powerful burst, creating a dazzling display of light and colour. Mines are often used to add dramatic effects to fireworks shows, such as sudden bursts of colour or bright flashes.
